Mermaid Monday #13: Green Mermaid Tail with White and Gold Top and Bracelet

I do believe this is Ivy’s first Mermaid Monday… here’s a nice basic mermaid tail to welcome her into the club. Sometime soon I really should do a tail tutorial… It’s really a lot easier than it looks. I spent more time trying to come up with a top I like, honestly.
The Prismacolor sure is elusive, so OK… I’ll give you a hint. Between today and the 24th, I made extensive use of this color in one of the dresses… and you know it’s not green. Now someone should get it, right?
At this rate, the first week of Halloween will be fairies, but Lord of the Rings – or Ghostbusters, if my husband organizes his forces properly – could make a comeback. So vote in the poll, if you haven’t already!

Aw, you guys just break my heart… It’s really kind of unfair, because the way the color looks on the Prismacolor web page looks a lot different from how the color actually looks. From looking at the website, you’d never guess it was a pretty color!

ok…i’ve been thinking about it and i guess i want the dress to be light blue with darker blue and/or gold accents (blue is my favorite color too). do you think the roses would look good a deep red? haha ur the color expert not me

I am writing a story called Scales. It is about mermaids, and I was really enticed by the idea about mermaid death, with the bubbles and everything. I was wondering if I could borrow that idea for my book, it’s really creative! Please let me know as soon as you can, because if I can’t, I ‘d like some time to be able to figure something else out.
