Pink and Red Fairy Dress from Liana’s Paperdoll Boutique

Honestly, I wasn’t quite feeling the whole paperdolling thing today after having three starts to another outfit go bad, so I decided to redraw one of the old Boutique fairy outfits. I’m not really thrilled with it, but it’s better than not posting anything at all…

okay - okay, you have improved over the years. I still love the essence of the first dolls. They looked like normal girls. No real beauty queens but they had great clothes. Besides there was a Brian doll and a wizard costume. Post that why don’t you?

I think it’s darling and very in keeping with the first day of spring. :-)

Haha, the Brian doll! I… might. :)
I didn’t realize it was the first day of spring… Here, it feels like it, and I just got back from standing in my patio and planning a tiny garden and where the birdfeeder will go… but tomorrow, two inches of snow! That’s Michigan for you…

Ooh, another fairy outfit.
For the others, in your old paper dolls page, I designed my own wings to pair with them. Of course, they aren’t nearly the quality of your drawings, but they let me add a personal touch. ;)

Ooh, I bet that was cool… I did a few wings for the old paperdoll page, that’s why the doll has the black line on her chest — you’d cut there and theoretically the wings that I made had a tab that would go through it, then be covered by whatever gown you put there. I thought of doing it that way with the Oz dress, but it got too late to work up a whole new wing system…
