Yep, that’s right. In some of those “sprawl” books characters talk about When It Changed, basically being the third act of Neuromancer.
It’s because I think that del.icio.us is gonna become self-aware far ahead of Google.

Though I think in Gibson’s book, the allusion is a nod to Joanna Russ’ classic story “When It Changed.”
